Timothy Berners-Lee is a british computer scienctist.
He was born on June 8, 1955 in London, England.
His biggest accomplishment was acheived in 1989
When he made the World Wide Web(WWW). He also
created the hypertext transfer protocol(HTTP).
HTTP standerdized the way web servers communicate.
He created HTML as well which is used to format web documents.
He used HTML to make the first ever web server.
He then made a web browser to make that network visible
That was called the World Wibe Web.

Vinton Cerf was born on June 23, 1943 in New Haven, Connecticut.
He has a Bachelors Degree in mathematics from Stanford in California.
He also has a Masters Degree and PhD from UCLA.
He is considered one of "The fathers of the internet".
His biggest contribution to the Computer Science world was
Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol(TCP/IP).
That enabled digital computers to communicate over long distances.
One of his other achievements was that he led a group that created
MCI Mail.It was the first commercial internet based e-mail service.

Margaret Hamilton was born on August 17, 1936 in Paoli, Indiana.
She has a Bachelors Degree from Earlham college. She was working on a PhD when she was given the opportunity to work on the Apollo 11.
So she had to postpone her PhD. Her job on the Apollo 11 was to write the launch code.
Without her we would not have made it to the moon. She also coined the term software engineering.
She created that term so she could be distinguished form other types of engineering. Also, from 1961-1963 she worked on the SAGE air defense system.
